Many people have contacted us and wanted more information about us, our family, where we live and our breeding plan. If you are one of those people then this page is for you! This is the farm/ranch where Marks family lived when he was born and Mark was raised here. He always knew that the farm and ranch was what he wanted to do so Mark went to college in Williston, ND for Farm Business Management. When he graduated he came back and took over the farm from his father, Vernon. Shellie was born in Kenmare, a small town north of Minot in North Dakota. She also lived on a farm until the family moved to Williston, ND. Even when Shellie was young when asked what she wanted to do when she grew up she would answer " I want to raise horses in the mountains in Montana". Now she says "two out of three ain't bad"... no mountains you know". Mark and Shellie are pictured with their children below.
Horses are not our only passion, here are some others. Grandchildren are way more fun than our own kids ever were AND they think we are more fun than their parents will ever be. It's a mutual admiration society!!
From left to right: Dalton is never happier than when he is at the farm with Grandma and Grandpa. He says "Gramma Shellie is better than all of you". That's my boy!!! Belle is our little "princess", she loves the farm but she is all girl. Prairie loves the farm, the rougher, tougher you play and the dirtier you get the better she likes it. Tanner lives a long way away so we only get to see him once a year but we sure enjoy our visits on the phone with him and Mom sends us pictures often.
