E-Mail Server Changes For Your Security
Please verify your email client settings to reflect these new changes.
 
 
  • If you use Microsoft Outlook Express use these steps
    • Open Outlook Express
    • Click on "TOOLS" (Top Toolbar)
    • Click on "ACCOUNTS"
    • Click on the "MAIL" tab on the upper left side
    • Select the mail account needed to verify
    • Click on the "PROPERTIES" button on the right side
    • Click on the "SERVERS" tab on the top of the window
    • Enter pop.nemontel.net on the Incoming Mail (POP3): line
    • Enter smtp.nemontel.net on the Outgoing Mail (SMTP): line
    • Click "OK" when finished
    • Congratulations, you have just re-configured Outlook Express


  • If you use Netscape Messenger 4.xx - 6.xx use these steps
    • Open Netscape Messenger
    • Click on "EDIT" (Top Toolbar)
    • Click on "PREFERENCES..."
    • Click on the "+" box next to "MAIL & NEWSGROUPS"
    • Click on "MAIL SERVERS"
    • Click on the "EDIT" button
    • Verify that the Server Name is set to pop.nemontel.net
    • Verify that the Server Type is set to POP3
    • Once verified, click "OK"
    • Verify that the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server is set to smtp.nemontel.net
    • Click "OK" when finished
    • Congratulations, you have just re-configured Netscape Messenger


If you only use Nemont Remote Mail, no changes are necessary.
 
 
Please note that these changes MUST be changed prior to March 2, 2004.

If these changes are not made by then, your email client will not be able to download any new mail from our server until the new settings are made to your email client.
