I Am Loved Prayer
I
Corinthians 13:1-7 (Amplified)
“If I (we) can speak in the tongues of men and even of angels, but have
not love, I’m (we’re) only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
And if I (we) have prophetic powers — that is, the gift of interpreting
the divine will and purpose — and understand all the secret truths and
mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I (we) have sufficient faith so that
I (we) can remove mountains, but have not love, I’m (we’re) nothing—a
useless nobody.
Even
if I (we) dole out all that I (we) have, and if I (we) surrender my (our) body
to be burned, but have not love, I (we) gain nothing. I (we) endure long and am (are) patient and kind; I’m
(we’re) never envious nor boil over with jealousy; not boastful nor
vainglorious, do not display myself (ourselves) haughtily. I’m (we’re) not
conceited— arrogant and inflated with pride; I’m (we’re) not rude and do
not act unbecomingly. I (we) do not insist on my (our) own way, for I’m
(we’re) not self-seeking; I’m (we’re) not touchy nor fretful nor
resentful; I (we) take no account of the evil done to me (us)—pay no attention
to a suffered wrong.
I
(we) do not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoice when right and
truth prevail. I (we) bear up under
anything and everything that comes, and am (are) ever ready to believe the best
of every person. My (our) hopes are fadeless under all circumstances and I (we)
endure everything without weakening. I (we) never fail.
In Jesus Name, Amen”
