The main focus of the "Word Training Center” is to make an impact for Jesus Christ upon the area of and around Williston and to become a “Family Resource Center” where all are welcome and where individuals and families can grow and flourish in faith and discover or rediscover their relationship with and love for God and His plan for their lives.  The Word Training Center is to serve as a resource center, helping people to discover and release God’s peace, love, joy and power in their homes, churches and communities. (James 3:17-18, Phil. 4:8-9) We are here to allow God’s people to have the Word resources they need to make an impact upon this community.   We are called to preach a life-changing message of hope, healing and restoration, so God’s vision to the “Word Training Center” will be fulfilled in this community. God has raised Pastor Marion and myself (Pastor Randy Mattern) up, as the Bible says, "for such a time and challenge as this".    WTC’s Part of the Great Commision:  To bring God’s strategy to Evangelize this area:  We are to bring God’s strategy for this Church “Word Training Center” (WTC) to Evangelize the Williston area and to bring in a “Harvest of New Creative Salvations” (New Believers) to our community of the God-kind of faith (Mark 11:22-24)   in Mark 16: 15-20  “And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;… they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover...And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” The Word of God, when it is allowed to produce purely it will always produce its design, purely, simply, and dynamically. Function: noun: a supernatural appearance that conveys a revelation; mode of seeing or conceiving unusual discernment or foresight <a man of vision> the act or power of seeing. (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)  The Word of God says in Habakkuk 2:2 ”Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.” Work with the Wounded & People who feel they have Fallen through the Cracks: We are called to work with the people that have been wounded or  who feel they have fallen through the cracks.  Also to encourage ones who have walked that path to mentor the ones starting on it. Train up God's People: We are to teach, train, and activate God’s people to effectively move in the ministry of reconciliation of Jesus and the ministry of the Holy Spirit to bring God’s people to maturity that they may be a blessing to the Body of Christ and their community.  We are also to help believers to discover, individually, their God given Destiny (or Vision):  This is also to be a Church that raises up, restores, trains, and equips mentors and those called to the Five-Fold ministry.  Cultivate a Covenant Family Atmosphere: To develop Covenant Families & relationships with each other, a people that truly believe, pray, and stand in the gap for one another other. (Heb. 10:25)  To help every believer and family come to terms with their personal destiny in Christ.  This can only be achieved as you & I develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and make Him truly Lord. In this case it is myself as the Pastor. God’s vision is not up for grabs or changes by the people. Only God changes His vision. It is the leaders job to make sure that he or she is leading with God’s vision; and that we are leading God's people into His vision for that particular work and for that particular area.  We believe we can turn any community around through the love, ministry and  passion of Jesus Christ.   But it needs to start in the local churches.  The local church and its people, is what your neighbors, friends, and co-workers see.
