Why do we lift our hands ?
Psalms 134:2 "Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord."

Why do we clap our hands ?
Psalms 47:1 "O clap your hands, all ye people, shout unto God with a voice of Triumph."

Why do we dance ?
Psalms 149:2-3 "Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: Let the children of Zion be joyful of there King. Let them praise his name in Dance."

Why do we pray in the Spirit ?
1 Corinthians 14:2 "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God."

Why do we sing in the Spirit ?
Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16 & 1 Corinthians 14:15 refer to singing with hymns, psalms and spiritual songs, and to singing with the spirit and also understanding. We read in John 4:24 that God is a spirit and we are to worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Why do we Prophesy ?
Amos 3:8 "...The Lord God hath spoken, who can prophesy? "1 Corinthians 14:3 "But he that Prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, exhortation and comfort."

Why do we have Banners ?
Isaiah 13:2 Come as a "terrible army with banners" We use banners to signify warfare and stake our claim to the territory we are possessing in the spirit of our God.
